The leadership of the BABC Chicago plays a vital role in ensuring the success of the
Council. They are volunteers, operating under the BABC Chicago by-laws, who have exhibited
outstanding qualifications, unselfish dedication, and a willingness to serve the

the Strategic Planning Session of the Board of Directors on November 23, 2002, it was the
consensus of the Directors to restructure the organization to include working committees
to increase participation by the members at large. A Board of Director leads each
