Admitted to Practice: Mr. McGrann has over thirty years experience in federal, state and local regulatory and legislative matters. He represents a wide range of private corporations and trade associations with respect to legislative activities. He also acts as counsel for a number of area government entities, including the Metropolitan Council, the Metropolitan Airports Commission, the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission and the Minnesota Ballpark Authority. Mr. McGrann's legislative experience includes service on the staffs of both the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives, serving in the former as Special Assistant to the late Senator Hubert H. Humphrey. He served as the Finance Chairman of the Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party and continues to play an active role in the Minnesota political arena. Today, Mr. McGrann works closely with local and regional governments, the Minnesota State Legislature and members of the state executive branch. He serves in leadership capacities with various associations and boards. He served for a number of years as a member of the Board of Directors for Minnesota Public Television, then KTCA-TV. He has served as the Honorary Consul to the United Kingdom for the past twelve years in Minnesota and continues to serve the British Government in that capacity. Mr. McGrann represents clients in the areas of energy, insurance, real estate development and management, and municipal law. He also has considerable experience in the fields of banking, transportation and communications law. Mr. McGrann has been selected by the Journal of Law in Politics as one of the outstanding lawyers in Minnesota.
