DIRECTOR

Loretta Kuss has been employed by American Airlines for almost 30 years, during which time she has held a number of key leadership positions. As Regional Sales Manager - Midwest, Loretta led a team of twelve Sales professionals in the STL hub and multiple spoke cities, managing nearly $200 million in revenue for the company. Loretta directed Sales, Marketing and Sales Promotions activities across a six-state Region and administered a multi-million dollar budget. She served as the St. Louis liaison with the company’s Schedule Planning, AAdvantage, Advertising and AA Vacations departments. She was also responsible for the company’s corporate citizenship and community relations initiatives in the St. Louis hub.

Loretta previously served as a Global Sales executive in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas, where she forged long-lasting business partnerships with several global Fortune 100 companies. She also served as District Sales Manager for Northern California based in San Francisco and as Manager - Marketing Development for American’s Chicago hub.

Loretta has proven business, sales and leadership skills and is a seasoned professional who has earned the trust and respect of colleagues and customers alike. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Loretta holds an M.B.A. in International Management from the University of Dallas and a B.A. in Business Management from the University of Texas.

She lives in Park Ridge with her husband, Frank, and looks forward to working with the Chicago Sales team and becoming actively engaged in the Chicago business and civic communities.
