Jonathan Wilson is Group General Counsel, Altemis, Ltd.

Jonathan Wilson served as a Partner in Landwell, the UK correspondent law firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He was recruited as part of the expansion of their team of UK/USA specialists located in London. Jonathan was, until recently, a partner in the Chicago office of Baker & McKenzie and had been based there since 1993. In Chicago, he was responsible for advising US corporates on their inbound work into the United Kingdom and EU. Jonathan came to the USA as an experienced UK admitted lawyer. However, during his time in Chicago, he went back to law school and received a juris doctorate from Loyola University School of Law as well as passing the Bar in Illinois. Accordingly, he is licensed to practice both in the US and in the UK.

Jonathan began his legal career at Slaughter & May in London and has also spent some time as a merchant banker with Robert Fleming & Co in London. Until Jonathan's departure from Chicago, he was President of the British American Chamber of Commerce for the Midwest, as well as Chairman of the International Advisory Committee of the Chicago Chamber of Commerce. He remains a Director of the Chamber in Chicago and now sits on the tax, EU and legal forums for British American Business in London.

Jonathan was born in Latin America and was raised there as well as in Asia and Africa, though he was schooled in England. In addition to Loyola University, Chicago, Jonathan is a graduate of both the London Guildhall University as well as Cambridge University. Jonathan lives in London with his wife, Sarah (née Byrne-Quinn) who is head of Strategy and Development at Cable & Wireless and they have two young sons. The whole family are dual nationals of the USA and UK.
