David Morehouse, a principal at the Gray Plant Mooty law firm in Minneapolis, practices in the areas of private finance and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law. As a dual-qualified lawyer, he particularly enjoys providing US counsel to British companies and lawyers in connection with transactions throughout the Midwest.

Dave holds degrees in law from Stanford University and Oxford University, and is qualified both as a lawyer in Minnesota and as a solicitor (non-practicing) in England and Wales. He has worked as a law clerk to a federal appellate judge, as an American lawyer in London, and, since 1984, in private practice at large firms in Minneapolis.

Dave has been active in BABC’s Minnesota chapter and member of its board since soon after its inception. He attended the recent Birmingham, Glasgow and London conferences as the chapter’s representative. He is also a member of BABC’s British-American Group of Lawyers (BAGOL).
