Aon Corporation, Chicago, IL, 2006 to 2009
 
*       Focal point for all Fortune 500 opportunities in the Americas. Leading and coordinating the Aon response to new business and retention. Current success rate of 61% on all tenders.

Managing Director, Global Business Unit
Aon Corporation, Chicago, IL, 1996 to 2006.
 
*       Established and led Aon’s US-based international operations, with subsequent substantial growth in market share. Successfully consolidated international operations of Alexander & Alexander, Bain Hogg and various Unison partners into unified Aon structure. With disciplined focus on costs, grew overall outward and inward revenue base by over 100%, in five year period (2001-2006).  Led Japan Group Americas and established a China Group through company transformation, increasing revenues by 85% in same period.  Introduced broad segmentation strategies to support inward, Japanese and smaller account portfolios, using focused markets and technology. Developed and expanded industry leading, on-line client facing international risk platform (GAMS).

Senior Vice President, International Operations
Marsh & McLennan, Midwest, 1985 to 1996.
*       Managed Ohio based international portfolio over seven year period. Promoted to Vice President. Tripled revenue base.
*       Managed Chicago international operations, stabilizing prior volatility and growing the account base by almost 50%.           

Captive Account Manager
Marsh & McLennan, Bermuda, 1983 to 1985.  Managed a property and casualty portfolio of over thirty complex global and domestic (US) accounts.
 
Assistant Manager
Norwich Winterthur, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, 1980 to 1983Ø    Sales and marketing of various insurance products (life and non-life) to local and international companies.
 
ProducerRoyal Insurance, Leeds and Bradford 1977-80Ø    Based in north of England, joined Royal’s graduate recruitment program after leaving University.  Handled property, casualty, life, pension and marine business.
