2008 BABC Transatlantic
Business Conference Please provide
us with feedback about the BABC Conference Focusing on the theme "Connectivity in a Transatlantic World," the BABC Conference was attended by over 140 business executives and government officials involved in trade and commerce. This two-day conference offered engaging presentations and allowed participants to electronically interact with our panel sessions led by a distinguished group of individuals. In addition, attendees had opportunities to catch up with old friends and make valuable new contacts during extended breaks and an entertaining evening at the Adler Planetarium. Our title sponsor, British Airways, went above and beyond to make attendees feel welcome in their hospitality and exhibit areas, which offered attendees a taste of the British Airways travel experience. Chefs were on site whipping up Irish breakfast sandwiches and yogurt parfaits in the morning, smoothies and desserts in the afternoon, and assorted dumplings, cheeses, and wines after the last session. We are grateful to our sponsors, speakers, BABC Chicago Board of Directors, and attendees for making the 2008 conference such a success.
